The Life That Made Me, ME Joyce Phillips
The Life That Made Me, ME
Joyce Phillips
I began writing at 16 for my high school newspaper. Two stories, with my bi-line, were printed. Then took a 60 year hiatus. When I look at family photos I remember stories of my life as a teenager with tears, a mother with magical joy, loving and learning. Holidays become springboards for stories of a woman's life. I write about special people who deserve honor and recognition. My hopes, successes and flaws become real when told in stories. I dream of past adventures and write about people and cultures that have been building blocks in my life. I write stories with each word becoming a stitch in a patch in a crazy quilt of my life. Each story adds to the next and together the reader is wrapped in the beauty of my life.
