Potential Killers is the very first finished work by Karl J. Niemiec back in 1976, at twenty-one. He wrote this with his 1929 Underwood on top of the building where he lived at the corner of Santa Monica and Vine, pictured on the front cover. In later drafts, while studying comedy writing with Danny Simon, Danny told him to make the story about people he knew. So Potential Killers is the twisted results of that journey into the lives of these ten people who surrounded him in his early days of Hollywood.
