The author, Charlie Hayes, was once named a Top Ten Worldwide Racing Driver in the motoring journal Autoweek. These are his stories. And they are gut-wrenchingly honest! This is not a full autobiography; rather it's an account of Charlie's experiences of being a full time racing driver from 1958 through 1968, a wildly innovative era in Road Racing.
