The museum's ancient Egyptian exhibition has been vandalized, and priceless, mystical artifacts have been stolen. A group of mummies has been desecrated and left in a pile in the middle of the room. Slumped across the pile of mummies with a dagger in his back lies the body of Professor Stein. What starts out as a straightforward case rapidly turns toward dark magic as the police discover that the mummy of Amenhotep, Priest to Ramses II, is gone, and a murdered woman has been wrapped like a mummy and left in his place. Dark Magic Hunter Malcolm Sinclair, US Army (retired) was close friends with Professor Stein. He is on the case and determined to find his killer. Detective Sergeant Lila Granger, Malcolm's ex-wife, has been assigned the case. She hates magic but loves Malcolm. As they delve deeper into this investigation, they will discover that Amenhotep has resurrected and is causing havoc across the city. Trying to stop him will uncover a deeper mystery that will lead them into the darkest areas of magic and human depravity. Can they solve the case before more people are murdered?
