I Shall Come Forth As Gold Mary Rader Pierce

Mary Rader Pierce was born the ninth child of a Kentucky Mountain preacher. At an early age the Lord put in her heart a passion for missions. She has traveled to some of the most remote parts of the world with her preacher husband. She uses her gifted voice to sing Southern Gospel as her husband's team mate. Mission work is not always the great adventure it seems. Along with the spiritual blessings often comes awkward, embarrassing and even humorous times. Mary says, "This means I have eaten food that I was afraid to ask what it was. I've used every kind of toilet imaginable and slept in beds beyond imagination. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. The joy of seeing so many people saved and people holding the Word of God in their hands for the first time is beyond description." Mary's husband is currently a Director of Missions in Arkansas
