This book attempts to show the falsehood of the traditional rapture by showing the difference between the hope of Israel and the hope of the church which is His body. Not all the New Testament is about us and Israel's greater deliverance, as typified in the Old Testament pattern, is outlined in its New Testament fulfillment. The differences in the letters of Paul are highlighted. The traditional rapture of 1Thess.4 is compared to the Appearing of Christ as found in Col.3. In this comparison it is hoped the reader will see these different aspects of the Lord's "second coming" and how they relate to different called out companies.
