What would you call something or someone that continues to bother you? "The Pest" is a battle between a little boy and a small flying bug. Written in poetic rhyme, this short story centers on nine-year-old Bo, who has come home from playing baseball. Bo wants to sit down and eat his lunch. But a flying bug buzzes all around him. Bo is annoyed at the pest. The small flying bug also wants to rest and eat some of Bo's sandwich and milk. But Bo keeps on swinging at the bug and tries to chase it away. The bug is upset. Find out who is the real pest and if they can come to a happy ending.
