This book emphasizes the importance of teaching children how to be kind so as they grow older, they will not bully their friends or family. Children learn the types of bullying (verbal, physical, social, cyber) and those involved in a bullying situation (bully, victim, ally, bystander). Children are introduced to the talk-walk-tell strategy for dealing with a bully. Children are asked to make a "no bullying" pledge and a "kindness" pledge. Suggested acts of kindness are included that children can perform with their parents. The authors use images of little girls and their dolls in matching superhero costumes to portray the superhero characters in the book.
