On the day after Christmas in 1862, thirty-eight Dakota Sioux Indians were hanged in the largest mass execution in United States history -- More than a century later, Kyle Ghostkiller has the chance to go back and save them. Kyle has just returned to his hometown to accept a medicine bundle passed down from his ancestor who was unjustly hanged in 1862. The ancient bundle gives Kyle the power to time travel to reverse a curse on a century-old document. Arriving into town just after four teenagers are found brutally murdered, Kyle becomes a prime suspect. With the FBI hot on his trail, and a jilted, childhood sweetheart learning to love him again, Kyle escapes into the past where he must confront the dark forces responsible for the curse and save the "38" from the hangman's noose forever.
