In Just Around the Corner, the author writes of her daily walking as a time to grow both physically and spiritually. As in her first book, Just Walking by AMG publishers, she continues to join her physical walking exercise with her spiritual growth. She encourages her readers to push on around the corner in their walk of life. Her focus originates on the everyday sights and sounds of her daily walk-deer in the ditch, garbage trucks, county fair time, changing seasons and the ever-present second mile. Each description of her daily walk becomes the beginning of her spiritual journey for the day. She encourages her readers to persevere in Bible study, to grow in a prayer life, and to appreciate citizenship here and in heaven, and to find the beauty in the ordinary of God's creation as they relate to the happenings in the daily walk of life.
