This book was written as a legacy for my kids and grandkids. That's why the recipes are rather detailed and the voice of the writing is quite personal. It started out when I was trying to organize my handwritten recipes I realized these family type recipes and the stories associated with them needed a more permanent means of saving them. The arrangement of the recipes is tied to how I encountered cooking demands but there also is an alphabetical listing, according to food types in the back. The recipes are genuinely tried and true and should result in very tasty fare. Hopefully the book will also provide you with fun and encouragement in cooking and living.
