The asteroid ship Prometheus is breaking down, and its crew is helpless to stop it. Their only hope is to send a small crew, led by Shana Argon, into the complete unknown. Traveling through non-space using alien technology they can barely control, Shana's crew is quickly lost. Gemma and Cap, ghosts in the machine, are their only hope of finding a pattern in the random leaps through space, in search of a colony planet they can call home.
