In the second Movie World book, Arthur Tageman still works for Charles Searcy at Megaworld Studios. In the first book as he was on a break at Winchell's Marsha reveals that something strange is going on at Megaworld. Before Arthur can probe further Marsha leaves. Outside, she is run down by a drunk driver. An accident? Or murder because she was helping him? Will he be next? Maizie Briggs, another Megaworld employee, agrees to help. Arthur finds Maizie very attractive. Instead of a wine and dine evening, Arthur wakes up the next morning with blood on his hands and Maizie dead.
