We do not pretend to summarize in a few images the rich expressiveness of the Maltese land, but at least detect the aesthetic essence outlining the basic conductive elements, irresistible and irremissible, that distinguish it from other countries. The personal chromatic fantasy of the fishing crafts, the sculptural particularities of city centers, the captivating familiarity of the bays of fishermen, the affectionate buses that created the first poignant impact with a world sustained by the joy of colors and the endless rural pathways that wind riddled between skeletal stony wings of the gaunt Maltese countryside, all this would demand by right a greater commitment. For the moment we are content in this way, but in our hearts we hope to go further ... Almost all photographs are associated with the most famous recipes of traditional Maltese cookery.
