A Whiter Shade of Trash
Fats Beauregard
A Whiter Shade of Trash is the story of a failed musician and hack writer who creates a reality TV program about a poor family living in suburban Mississippi. The mother is on parole while and the step father is an almost narcoleptic recovered alcoholic. This scenario often allows the children free rein to play along to create a controversial show carrying white trash characterizations along with their far right political values to extremes where almost nothing is sacrosanct. The result is a show that is a cross between Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, or, perhaps, Duck Dynasty meets Arrested Development. It doesn't take long before problems develop in the family and on the show as some capitalize on fame while others are hit with shame. Book one of a proposed trilogy. Sexually explicit, strong offensive language, politically incorrect to extremes.
