The Blessing of You Lori Blasingame

This story follows a mother and son as the son grows over the years. As the momma sees her son accomplish new things, she cries 'happy tears'. Each time she cries, her son asks her why she is crying and each time, his momma replies, "These are just happy tears, my love. Some day you will understand." In the end, the child is grown and finally understands happy tears when he sees his bride walk down the aisle. The end of the book finds the momma saying, "Now you understand happy tears, my love, and how thankful I am for the blessing of you!"
