The Governess and the Artist A Regency Romance Lady Oxford catches Lord Byron kissing her governess Aurora Winters and angrily dismisses her. She instructs her coachman to take Aurora to the nearest brothel where she meets Richard Westall a famous painter who has been working on a portrait of Lady Oxford's daughter Lady Charlotte Harley. Upon hearing that Aurora has been dismissed from her job, Richard offers her a position as his studio assistant and model. Aurora also attracts the notice of several other famous painters and becomes popular as an artist's model. Aurora and Richard fall in love, but the course of true love does not run smoothly.
