Thus writes the hymnist Ruth Duck, and thus live Jerry and Julie Flora, followers of God in Christ. The story of their marriage and ministry began in a thunderstorm, with mortuary fans stirring the sultry air. They obediently followed the call to early pastorates, opened their home to two beautiful daughters, and answered the Spirit's nudge to the halls of the seminary. Now in retirement, they greet each new sunrise "like the first morning."
