Paul is an Iraq war veteran trying to better himself. Suffering from PTSD, he turns to his friend and mentor Terrance Westergart; a collage history professor and fellow army veteran. After a particularly bad night filled with anger, guilt and suicidal thoughts; Terrance invites Paul to sit in on his class. Soon the first signs of trouble came beeping over everyone's cell phones: Active shooter. But it wasn't an active shooter.
