In this sixth installment of the Zombie Crusade series, the infected continue to develop the strength and abilities of apex predators, while the not-just-physically transformed Luke Seifert leads his new bride and best friends westward as he seeks to rediscover himself, and his mission, in a world overrun by hunters. Luke and his young companions encounter an apocalyptic landscape filled with ragtag settlements of survivors, an impressive cache of abandoned military equipment, and a surprisingly well-organized group of new allies in Texas.
