This story takes place in late 1938, During the financial crisis of the late 30s and early 40s. When the American plutocrat Robert Ellison, was found dead, shot, through the eye, in his mansion, Aaron Kane, a noted artist and Private investigator, is asked by the editor of the Clarion Ledger to investigate the mysterious case.
