As the father of a soon-to-be college son, I felt it necessary to prepare him for his future role as a Christian leader in the home, at work, in the church and in the community. Drawing on lessons learned from my own imperfect walk towards Godly perfection, "Christian Leadership Principles for Young Men" is designed to provide practical, concise advice for young men on the brink of adulthood. Developing vision, avoiding leadership traps, being tough and tender, loving and leading a family, and continuous improvement are all included in this twelve-chapter book. As chaplain of my son's baseball team, we used this book as a handy devotional series for a season. While there are plenty of books about leadership, "Christian Leadership Principles for Young Men" connects the dots between abundant secular leadership guidance and the ultimate leadership guidance found in God's Word. Not only is this a must read for young men and "future men," adults will also be challenged by this book's insight and advice.
