George Geisinger
A writer who doesn't know how to tell a story, without a lot of lurid sex, blood, guts and gore to it, to maintain the reader's attention, does not know how to tell a story in the first place. The art of telling a good story has almost been lost, mostly with the advent of TV and movies. There was a time for parlor guests and interesting conversation, and one better not become too provocative in the face of their elders. A speaker needed some discretion and some circumspection, and a more refined context of language, the better off the speaker happened to be.
