Hope and Peyton Howard met while they both attended the University of Virginia. Heading to Wilmington, North Carolina after graduation, they soon discover a series of three trunks left to them by an ancestor. The trunks contain artifacts and journals that detail three centuries of family history and the history of Wilmington itself. Soon they begin to experience visions of those centuries. Are they experiencing prior lives or merely influenced by the artifacts and homes in which they inhabit?
