Carefree, adventurous, lover of life. These were some of the words used to describe Carys Craine before. At twenty-five years old, while most of her friends were starting to find themselves in serious relationships and settling down, Carys couldn't even focus on sitting down. When she wasn't jumping from job to job, she was flying from place to place. Growing up the daughter of a journalist, that's the life she knew. Soon, all of that changed. Cautious, homebody, fearful. These are some of the words used to describe Carys after. All it took was one near-fatal accident to throw her life of adventure off course. No one in her family or circle of friends seemed to understand her new-found fear and why it was so hard to let it go--especially since everyone, including Carys, could still sense her adventurous spirit.
