After being defeated by Vance on Dualictum, Rav awakens in the mental health wing of an Odyssian hospital. The doctors tell him he has been there for three years and that it is three years before he ever left the planet. His wife is alive. Vance is friendly. There are no records of his son, Nemo, in the entire planet's database. Even Vance and Helen agree that the boy never existed. Rav faces reality as he begins to embrace the planet around him. He is back at square one, with a house and a wife, a best friend who has not been pushed too far, and his old computer engineering job at CyrinoTech. But why? Why has everything he lived through for the past three years been completely erased? Why will no one acknowledge that Nemo exists? Why does everything think he has lost his mind? The bigger question is if those events ever actually happened. Was it all in Rav's mind?
