Future marine biologist Lily is excited about a trip around the Atlantic coast of North America with scientists and friends. Life on board the Dolphin Dancer, however, gets off to a rocky start. Lily's long-distance boyfriend dumps her over the phone. Lily is crushed, until she makes a special connection with a lonely, injured Atlantic bottlenose dolphin. Her friendship with the dolphin, Melody, will change her life forever.
