Catholic Christians have come to love their Deacons. We have basked in the glow of their generosity and sacrifice from nearly the moment Jesus returned to His Heavenly Father and bequeathed us the Holy Spirit, some two thousand years ago. Deacons have since been instruments of this Blessed Paraclete.
