Michael Fortune continues to share the events that took place just before he became ensnared inside the void. Trying to remember every detail along the way. In doing so, Michael decides to revisit the intricacies of his youth. For those days contain the detailed origins of his gifts, his tragic relationship with his wife, and other moments that may have played a role in his downfall. After completely altering the events of his final story for the sake of his ill wife's well-being, he was then pressured to take depths even further. The new Hostile Love storyline was a huge success, but Michael had to find a way to complete a trilogy rooted in the genre of horror. With only one couple remaining on the island of Rio Tobu, the storyline there continued to complicate. Someone else had arrived on the island to aid them. Someone that Michael hadn't been aware of. Things get even worse when the newcomer begins to share secrets about himself and directly issues a challenge to end not only this new plot, but Michael as well.
