When Jaffa Troy finds an old Playboy magazine featuring none other than his neighbour, Polly Malone, he develops a deep infatuation for her that he will never shake off. Polly is married to local farmer Furzy Malone, who recently recovered from a near-fatal heart attack. When attending an event in the mountains where government officials release two golden eagles into the wild, Jaffa admires Polly from afar, and an insane idea forms in his mind; if Furzy has another heart attack, and Polly left as a widow, perhaps Jaffa can seduce her and have her all to himself. Whilst Furzy is on his daily cycling trip, an explosion erupts from the mountains on his land. When the local Gardaí, Jack and Curtis, investigate, it's to find that scientists and an Iranian cave explorer have blown up part of Furzy's cave with a complicated uranium experiment. They're arrested, leaving Furzy dumbfounded. Upon exploring the ruins of the cave, he and his sheepdog, Sadie, make an amazing discovery - a deep cavern filled with priceless uranium, a goldmine for the otherwise modest farmer.
