The Young Soviet Violinist--Piano Score Robert Debbaut

Music Education was an important part of the core scholastic curriculum in the Soviet Union. Early on composers such as Dmitri Kabalevsky and Viktor Kosenko were pioneers in composing interesting piano music for young musicians. Robert Debbaut has selected and edited a number of works from that era with the young violinist in mind. Presented in this collection are additional works by Soviet composers Baghirov, Dvarionas, Komorovsky, Mushel, Myaskovsky, Prokofiev and others.
