Vera's life was doomed from the start. No one knew what she really was and if they did, they'd probably burn her alive. She was a hybrid, also known as a half-blood and in everyone else's opinion: an abomination. For being what she is, she doesn't fully belong to either side, vampire nor werewolf. In her world, vampires rule everything with humans as their food and werewolves as their pets. She has lived her entire life in hiding with the wolves without giving away her secret to the one person who holds her heart and now that her love has been taken by vampires, she must disguise herself as the enemy to get him back.
