1) There was an eggplant bush behind Teena's house. A Tuntuni bird used to live there. The Tuntuni bird stitched eggplant leaves together with her beak and made a little nest. There she laid tiny little eggs and tiny baby birds were born. Tuntuni took good care of her babies. Three tiny little baby birds stayed inside the nest. They were very young, couldn't fly yet, couldn't even see anything. They could only open their mouths for food. The mother bird picked food for them& put it into their tiny mouths. There was a naughty cat who lived next door. She wanted to have those tiny baby Tuntunis for diner. One day the cat came under the eggplant bush & asked the mom Tuntuni "what are you doing?" Mom Tuntuni bowed to the cat & said "take my regards O Great Queen". The cat was very happy that Tuntuni gave her so much respect & called her queen!! So she came everyday & the mom Tuntuni payed her respect. The cat left happily. In the mean time, the baby birds have grown up. Now they have nice wings. They could see around. Their mother asked them one day, "my darlings would you be able to fly?" They said 'yes, Mom, we can fly". Their mom said "OK then show me & fly up to that big palm tree." The babies flew to that big tree & sat on the branches. The mother Tuntuni thought, "let's see what can the naughty cat can do now"!! 2) We, three sisters, Radhika, Amrita and Sriya went on a tour; our grandparents checked us into a hotel and guess what? The hotel moved from one city to the next, and to the next till we reached the final city and we checked out of the hotel. This is the way, we visited India's golden triangle. We checked into a train that provides all facilities of a good hotel; the train travelled from Delhi to Jaipur, Agra and back to Delhi. After boarding, we skyped Daddy and Mummy; showed them our palace-like train, with noiseless air-conditioning, the triple bunk-bed, a big wardrobe plus well-equipped ensuite. In spite of its majestic antique looks, the train was cosy and comfortable. Each coach had a seating lounge where passengers from four chambers could assemble for breakfast and leisure.
