Racine is first introduced to Daphne through a mutual friend. Todd Flanders has previously given him tips about local issues, but this is the first time Todd has given Racine a lead for his personal life.



Racine is immediately attracted to the beautiful but troubled woman and woos Daphne with everything he has. Romantic flights, scenic hikes, and long talks become their norm. But before Racine and Daphne can plan their future together, a chance encounter leaves Daphne shaken and Racine unsure how to help. Then, as the two begin to drift apart, Racine faces a major scandal manufactured by a jealous rival.



Racine, now persona non grata in the newspaper industry, must decide what to do next with his life. With only his Lockheed Electra, he takes to the skies and searches for new frontiers. As Racine starts a new adventure, will Daphne join him as his copilot, or are they both destined to fly alone?
