Barry sees Mak as a sinful demon that never showers. Mak sees Barry as a boring goody-goody feather duster. Together, this unlikely alliance between an angel and demon is forged and tested as they try to stop a global conspiracy that will trigger the end of times. In order to save the world without other angels and demons stopping them, Mak and Barry must pretend to be humans. The two supernatural beings share a one-bedroom apartment in the city, work three jobs to pay the rent, and learn what being human is all about.
