In a drought ridden land, the only hope for survival appears to be that the Great Diamond of the Prophet John Littleproud is found so that its powers can cause the rains to return. At least that is what the faithful believe. Some believe that the Great Diamond is a myth, and that the search for it is a hoax used to keep the population quiet. Under pressure the Council offers the chance for any citizen to pass beyond the Northern Hills and into the wastelands beyond to discover the truth for themselves.
