What happens if you won the lottery worth millions of dollars? What would you do? What choices would you make? You have lots of options if you are young to middle age. But, what if you were in the twilight years of your life? This is the story of just such a man. It is about a choice he made as he attempted to follow a dream, to do something special in those remaining years. It is told from his perspective that was compiled from journal writings he and others made as he lived the adventure. By all accounts he was an ordinary man with dreams similar to those you and I have. His background no better or worse than anyone else's. But, he was different in one way. He decided not to go 'quietly into the night' and luck, for once, was on his side that suddenly allowed him to turn a dream into a reality. My name is Sarah and I am proud to have been his friend, partner and confidant. Along with many other people, we joined his quest and were caught up in its' magic.
