The Pan-American Exposition of 1901 was the launching point for some of the world's greatest innovators and their life-changing inventions. It took place at Rainbow City (located in Buffalo, New York), a wonder of light and color among technological marvels and architectural genius. However, amid the joy and the triumph of science, Rainbow City and the Pan Am Expo of 1901 earned a darker reputation as well. It was there, on the sixth of September, that President William McKinley was shot and mortally wounded. A spectator, and the son of a former slave, named James Parker, who had come to the World's Fair to thank McKinley for his service to the Union during the Civil War, wrestled the shooter to the ground. Afterward, that was thought to be the end of it, Leon Czolgosz was a lone-nut gunman. But there have always been unanswered questions about that day in a paradise powered by electric cars and organic food. Did Czolgosz really act alone, or will three young time-traveling detectives uncover a Conspiracy to Murder?
