Lonesome runs as her wounded rider Arie hangs on for her life when their wagon train is attacked. Arie wakes finding she is the only survivor in the harsh western Mountains. Marshal Dane Greer and army scout Wink find Arie surviving alone after continuing their search for the wagon train when it did not arrive at the Fort as expected. A blizzard snow storm isolates the three unsuspecting partners embarking them on an adventure of life and death struggle over a lonesome and dangerous trail.
