This is why Search for Hidden Treasure is not a Bible study: It's a Bible reading program. The idea is to read through the Bible to gain perspective, to see the whole picture. This way, when you're ready to really dig in and study Scripture, you'll know where the writers -- and ultimately, God -- are coming from. As you get to know the whole Bible, the little pieces will begin to make more and more sense. This approach is appropriate for anyone who wants to know their Bible better. It's refreshing for those who have studied the Bible for years, and it's illuminating for those who are opening their Bible for the first time. Adults may use it alone or in a group. It's wonderful for family devotions or homeschool. Young children often have incredible insights. If they aren't old enough to write yet, an older child or adult can write the answers they give. This is a 44 week course -- perfect for a school year. If you're doing this on your own, it allows for 8 weeks' break, if you'd like to complete it in a year. When you complete the workbook, you'll have a lifelong treasury of lessons learned and prayers answered.
