This is a story about a kind and gentle pig who lives in a barnyard that is big and wide. She is such a fancy pig that when the other animals see her they begin chanting, "Fancy Miss Pig is fancy in her dress; she's fancy in her talk; she's fancy with her hairdos, and she's fancy when she walks." Even though Miss Pig is different from the other animals, she always shows love and patience to everyone living in the barnyard. A wonderful read aloud book for preschool to second graders.
