On June 25th, 2001, author Lisa Gill was driving a friend to a belated birthday dinner when they were struck head-on by a drunk driver. That narrow brush with death unleashed a veritable explosion of absurdity. When isn't a hit and run crash a collision of metal and mind? Add in the fact that there were two poets in the cab of one of the trucks, and that accident took place next to a mural, and you end up with this tale: a very very near art experience.
