The Passion of The Christ The Movie Mel Gibson made in 2004 This movie was a powerful story of the final hours in the life of our Savior. The story starts in the garden of Gethsemsne where Jesus went to pray to the father about what was about to happen. The soldiers came and took him when Judas betrayed him. This book is a deeper look at what happened in those last hours. The Meeting with Pilate. Pilate is warned by his wife not to hurt the inocent man, Jesus. Pilate doesn't think Jesus is guilty of any crimes worth death, but he doesn't have the guts to stand up against the jewish leaders and release Jesus. Jesus took on all the sin of all men. He died to pay the price of the sins of everyone. There is no charge for any of us for him doing this for us. It is a free gift that we only have to accept. There was horrible pain in being crusified Jesus was beaten and mocked, and nailed to a cross to die because the Jewish leaders were afraid that he would ruin what they had and what they controlled. It was Gods plan that this would happen. Jesus died to pay the price for the sins of all men. Through all the pain and suffering, Jesus only showed love and forgiveness to the ones who were murdering him.
