This is a story that begins with a betrayal. Hera, an Immortal Elder, invites all of the Immortal Children to a fancy dress party and by the party's ending they are all trapped on Earth. Zeus and Eurynome punish Hera - but such a punishment triggers a catastrophic event. What Zeus and Eurynome do not foresee is the awakening of a new species. A story that begins with a betrayal dealt swiftly with a punishment becomes then a battle for freedom and survival.
