Patches is a personal account of the author's life noting the influences and directions given by God throughout the author's life. By recounting the events and people and seasons of his life, he hopes that the reader will achieve a better understanding and appreciation for how the God of the universe affects, impacts, and molds our lives through the years. The examples and illustrations are not intended on claiming the misconception that God works through each of us the same. He just hopes that by reading how he recognized God working in his life that the reader will learn to realize more of God's presence in theirs. And as he states in the very last of this biography, don't be afraid to dream out of your faith.
