Strong Together Lillian Medhus

Strong Together is a domestic violence support group curriculum for Muslim women. This curriculum has been used successfully with many women in a Muslim community in California. The women have found healing, hope, and support in a new way. Twelve sessions are included, complete with leader's instructions, handouts, and digital downloads of all necessary information. The focus of the sessions is on education about domestic violence, learning to tell your story in a restorative way, finding hope through community, and safety planning. The handouts have also been made available in Dari & Arabic, allowing more women to access healing. Several professional artists created custom meditative coloring pages which are included as an alternative art activity for the women.
