Cory Winston lives on the outskirts of town, feeling mostly unimportant. His brother Daniel makes fun of him for being too small. His sister Reba treats him like a baby. When Cory and his family go on summer vacation, he meets Spence. Spence treats Cory like an equal and even invites him on an incredible adventure. There's just one problem. Spence is a pixie. In his second adventure he moves to a new home and it opened doors to a new and exciting kind of adventure. Cory realized he was not too small or too shy. By the end of the second book he understands he's the only hope to recover a captured queen and save a kingdom from ruinous fighting. When he locates the key to the book he is able to take Spence on an adventure. Spence finds out Cory has the ability to show him things he has never seen before. During Cory's first vacation he met with 3 wolves. Spence his pixie friend called them the wolves of wisdom. Cory addressed the wolves of wisdom and received guidance on finding the Babe of innocence which was one of the goals of his quest to help him and Spence find the queen of the tween. After his visit with the wolves they gave him the gift of smell. He is able to smell things far away, he can even smell danger. Spence and his family helped Cory on his adventure. They changed Cory into different shapes including giving him wings to fly and glimmered him from kingdom to kingdom and place to place. Cory was very excited and full of wonder from glimmering to the mountain side where the wolves were. Now Cory lives in a big new house with a large back yard which has an Olympic sized swimming pool, tennis and basketball court. The best thing for Cory is all the trees and forest like area. In the forest area he has many adventures and with the help of his friend Spence the pixie he can go in and out of the tween. The tween takes him too many different magical lands and quest. In the tween Cory is able to speak and interact with all kinds of mystical creatures.
