This devotional is written that you might use these forty days of Lent (Sundays are excluded) to draw closer to God, and to focus on His Word. The focus of these meditations will be the Psalms, which speak to our hearts and show us the many facets of the human condition. Yet it also grounds us in that which has become our daily bread. As Jesus reminds us, we don't live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. So join me for these forty days in reflecting on selected Psalms, so we might turn away from the trivial and focus on the Everlasting God.
