It's home time and two children run back into school - they have forgotten their lunch boxes. When they enter the classroom a waste bin hums and as they look inside they are whisked down into a strange land, which they later find is called "The Land of Rubbish". Their surroundings are made up of old pictures, drawings and models that have been thrown in the bin. It's a land with its own rules, where re-cycling means something entirely different from the real world. They meet a paper doll, Polly Paper, and their adventures begin.....
