The Beauty of the Palouse Palouse Prairie Chart Fourth Grade Crew

This book was written by the 2016-17 fourth grade crew at Palouse Prairie Charter School in Moscow, Idaho. These students wrote this book to tell the scientific and poetic stories of the geologic formation of the Palouse region. These fourth graders worked with local experts to learn and practice the arts of scientific writing, poetic writing, and linoleum block printmaking in order to write and illustrate their own book. They demonstrated genuine responsibility and grit by taking on the challenge of being the first to write this story. We hope you enjoy it and learn something new about our beautiful Palouse!
